Motorcycle Tour of the West Country

Catching up from the first weekend in May...

The first weekend in May was a bank holiday weekend in the UK so technically Josh had Monday off. Bubbe arrived the Tuesday before and spend a few days with us. Friday Uncle Eddie came down to pick up Avery, Pepper and Bubbe to take them to Southport for the weekend. Josh rented a BMW motorcycle for the weekend and we planned a last minute tour of the west country of England. We left a few hours late on Friday due to someones work but I digress. After getting off the motorway we got on some smaller roads that were much more enjoyable. We even skipped loads of traffic by driving down the center line. Our first stop was Cheddar Gorge.

The first night we stayed in Dunster. Here is the little town with Dunster Castle in the background.

Next we went through Exmoor National Park.

We continued down the coast to Newquay.

From our B & B in Newquay.

The next day we took two small ferries and went through Dartmoor National Park.

Down the southern coast to Weymouth where we stayed our last night.

Map of our travels.
